Beagle-1: I suspect that the cache is just fine and that the cacher who placed the needs maint log was really too inexperienced to understand that they were dealing with a multi cache and not a regular. They only have one day caching experience and their log seems to indicate that they did not understand what a multi is. They only have 7 finds.
Like the idea about opening the area up for others. When I wander out there to retrieve my cache and no one has placed another I may reuse the area again then
