The cache is located at Laksevaag
Earlier Laksevåg was an own local council. From 1972 Laksevåg was included in the large Bergen council. Today Laksevåg district has 35 918 inhabitants (01.01.2005).
The cache is located at Kirkebukten ("Church Bay"). Laksevåg Church can be seen nearby, see picture. The church was built in 1874-1875.
Damsgård Hovedgård is also located nearby, and well worth a visit!
The area has been somewhat upgraded the last years, but much of the old industry at Laksevåg is still very close to the cache. From the cache you have a great view of Nordnes and Ulriken.
It is especially recommended to visit the cache on the evening of 23th of June.
