American Heroes

Firefighters

This cache is dedicated to all the Men and Women who risk their lives everyday to keep the rest of us safe.

Mark Noble was the first Olympia firefighter to lose his life in the line of duty.  He died on January 15th, 2005 of a brain tumor.  The tumor was caused by the constant exposure to carcinogens during Mark's 28 year career as a firefighter in Thurston County.  He was 47.

Mark's widow, Rebecca, purchased a bronze statue depicting three firefighters as a memorial.  This statue is at the entrance of the Olympia Fire Department's Headquarters (100 Eastside Street).  This is a wonderful memorial, you should stop and take a look.

Follow the link below and solve the puzzle.  Please refrain from hitting the "Auto Solve" link as that would be cheating and we all know that Cacher's don't take the easy way.  You can drag the pieces and they will link together if they belong.  The completed puzzle contains the location of the cache.
