These coordinates gets you to the top of Strawberry Peak to the West of Socorro.
Green ammo box with lots of critters in it. Animals and volcanos are the themes for this cache - ftf gets one of my favorite DVD's: Joe Versus the Volcano. I left at 11am and didn't make it back to my car till 7pm. I think you can also get in from the Kelley road through the Kokopelli ranch, but you'll need permission. I parked at: N34 4.918, W106 54.995 and took a mtn bike trail starting at N34 05.247, W106 54.763 half-way there to N34 06.255, W106 57.834. Greg and I buried a water cache today and hid a shovel nearby, but still, take lots of water! If you dig up the water cache, take what you need and rebury it. Please report water used. ~10 miles rt
