The Steve Irwin Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

CacheDrone: On Oct 12th, 2014 the owner of this geocache was contacted because their NPCA geocaching permit had expired. A suggestion to reapply was included as well as instruction to place a note on this listing. Six weeks have passed with no apparent updates. As such this listing has been archived. The owner may request unarchival but a valid permit will be needed for this to happen and the cache must meet the most recent listing guidelines.

Geocache Description:

Parking can be found at N43,11,478 W79,33,828.
While you are there please stop and hit the other cache that is near by. "Along the Forty"
I rated this cache a harder terrain due to the time of year. Ice clamps for the feet are a good idea right now.
Some areas are very slippery.

The world is at a loss without the Crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin. He was a man that believed the conservation of our planet and all living things on it were a number one priority. He helped bring several plants and animals back from the endangered spieces list. He also set up and fun raised for different wildlife preserves around the world.
We all new him as the hyper Ausie who jumped on croc backs, but not all new him for his fearless campaign for mother nature.
This cache is full of some of the creatures that were featured on his show. Also there are two TB. One of them is making his maiden Star Trek voyage with a special task.
The elevation was at 590m when it was set.
This is my first hide with a Garmin!
