THIS CACHE IS NO LONGER A PUZZLE BECAUSE THE LIBRARY WHERE THE ACTUAL COORDS ARE LOCATED WILL BE CLOSED FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. THEREFORE, THESE ARE THE ACTUAL COORDS FOR THE CACHE N42 30.324 W71 52.333
The posted coordinates are not the location of the cache. The posted coordinates will take you to a historical sign which contains the first clue to the puzzle. Look for the last name of a woman from the surrounding community.
THIS IS NO LONGER A PUZZLE CACHE--SEE ABOVE FOR THE ACTUAL COORDS.
The next part of the puzzle will require you to locate the NEAREST library. Inside the library find the location of the first person account of her story presented to the library in memory of Larry Smart. There you will need to search for the coordinates for the actual location of the cache. If the book has been borrowed--NO PROBLEM.
The library director has approved this placement of the coordinates. The library staff are willing to be of assistance in finding the location of the book if necessary. However, please be considerate of their time and only ask for assistance if absolutely necessary. Please do not ask them to assist you with your search for the coordinates once you have found the location of the book.

The driving distance from the historical sign to the cache site is approimately 12 miles. The cache is a small Rubbermaid container. During the 2007 spring/summer months there was major logging in the area which resulted in a significant change in the terrain. WE SUGGEST SEARCHING ABOUT A 20FT. RADIUS FROM ANY GZ READING YOU MAY GET.
