The cave has stalactites, stalagmites and columns (formed when a stalagmite meets a stalactite).
A stalagmite is a deposit of calcium carbonate which rises from the floor of a limestone cave and is formed by the dripping of mineralized solutions. The corresponding formation on the ceiling above a stalagmite is known as a stalactite. The term "stalagmite" is derived from the Greek meaning that which drops; "stalactite," from the Greek meaning to fall in drops.
The cave has got one of the highest vaults in Spain and is similar to a cathedral. The acoustic is so good that occasionally there are concerts in the cave.

La cueva se sitúa cerca de Busot, entre Alicante y Benidorm.
La cueva tiene los stalactites, los stalagmites y columnas (formados cuando un stalagmite resuelve un stalactite).
Un stalagmite es un depósito del carbonato de calcio que las subidas del piso de una cueva de la piedra caliza y son formadas por el goteo de soluciones mineralizadas. La formación correspondiente en el techo sobre un stalagmite se conoce como stalactite. El término "stalagmite" se deriva del significado griego el que caiga; "stalactite," del significado griego a bajar en gotas.
La cueva tiene una de las bóvedas más altas de España y es similar a una catedral. El acústico es tan bueno que de vez en cuando hay conciertos en la cueva.
