In a place where it was so dry that they say that once even rabbits took a packed lunch, this cache takes you to the centre of Canterbury's dairying industry.
Once upon a time, this part of Canterbury was rather dry and not much use for anything apart from sheep and pine tree plantations. However, with some water rights and money, irrigation became feasible and the previously cheap land is now worth a small fortune. So as you will see, it's a case of out with the sheep (and rabbits) and trees and in with the cows.
The centre of this growth in Canterbury's dairy / irrigation is said to be the community of Te Pirita, although you wouldn't know it by looking considering it only has three buildings. The Hall looks like it doesn't get as many visitors as it used to, however, cachers should help increase the numbers.
The cache is a 2l camo painted Sistema container, hidden in a fairly obvious location. Just watch out for the sprinklers :) There is Cedric the Brown Bear waiting for the FTF
