Geocache Description:

This is a small 20 minute tour of local power poles. I am so fascinated by the mundane – “so sad, so bad”.

“I’m just going outside and may be sometime” - Oates
====================================================
Did you know each power pole has its own identity – an individual number generally on a black tag, about halfway up, on the road side. Perhaps you might consider adopting your local power pole and giving it a name. Mine is called Lech after that great Pole, Trade Union leader Lech Walesa – it also carries Lechtricity…. Oh I do digress…

Anyway, to introduce you to some of my friends I have decided to take you on a small stroll – with a nice cache to reward your efforts. Write down the 4 figure ID number at each pole and calculate the final cache position.

Pole 1 'Peter'
S41 17.107 E173 16.285 619A

Pole 2 'Hyacinth'
S41 17.045 E173 16.377 50B3

Pole 3 'Maureen'
S41 17.053 E173 16.458 6C03

Pole 4 'Barnabus'
S41 17.074 E173 16.468 61D4

Please introduce yourself to my friends. They carry a powerful burden and do such a sterling job in fair weather and foul. Nobody likes to be taken for granted!!

The final cache is at :

South 41 17.CC(B+1)
East 173 16.AA(D-1)

It is a about 250 metres from the final pole.
