Candlebark Park is in an area which must have provided a lot of resources for people before the Europeans came. The newcomers soon converted it into farmland as will be obvious if you look around you. Only a few examples of the original flora remain, including the Eucalyptus ribida, or Candlebark, after which the park is named, although it is (very) slowly being returned to something like its pre-European conditions. Fauna such as the Eastern Grey Kangaroo, Brush-tailed and Ring-tailed possums, as well as a number of birds, can be seen and/or heard.
There is safe parking off either side of Fitzimmons Lane but you will need to be careful, as the exits, which are on the south side of the river, can sneak up on you very quickly!
At the posted coordinates you will have to find the coordinates for the Cache, which is only a short walk away. The cache is a 3 litre cliptop container with the usual swaps plus a few extras to celebrate a recent milestone and should be easy to find once you are at gz.
Please also note the rating on this cache - WP1 may not be easy!
One number has become a bit hard to read - it is an 8.
