Geocache Description:

This cache used to be Join a Cougar For Lunch At Lake but the mugglers were closing in so I had to find a new hiding spot. AIC??

On this windy rainy day, a muggler tracking me with his dog was hot on my heels less than a hundred yards away when I spied this gnarly hiding place. I quickly stashed the loot and grabbed a rough coordinate before the muggler discovered me. He interrogated me unmercifully but I did not give up its location. On the way back to the car, I met this nice gentle man on a horse (oddly missing his head) that graciously agreed to protect it from the mugglers. If you see him then just tell him Trapshoot sent you and he will gladly let you pass.


The cache is not far from a popular rail trail; less than 1/4 mile on public land. It is frequented by mugglers training their dogs. During bird season you might want to pass over this one. If you have a fish and game parking pass then this will be a quick snatch. With a parking pass, you can park at N47 41.309 W121 56.215. Otherwise, there are numerous little gravel roads off of highway 203 which I've gained access to the rail trail from in the past w/o problems. However, since I don't know how strickly legal this was, I'm not going to provide any instructions for these other locations. This rail trail runs parallel to 203 from Carnation to Duval through both farm land and wet lands. ?a
