This cache is a green waterproof sportsman box, located near Gin Hole Landing Campsite on Eglin AFB Reservation. The original cache was hidden by Jeepocacher but at one point grew feet and moved 0.10 mile in an attempt to find a new home. However, the cached has been re-discovered and returned to its initial location.
To Geocache on Eglin Reservation, you will need a $7 yearly recreation permit. Some of the roads and trails in the area may be closed at times due to maneuvers, so be aware and use caution. Beware of hunters on the reservation as well as wild life to include snakes!!! Information, regulations, and permit can be obtained from:
