Geocache Description:

Cache is a 4 x 4 x 6 clear plastic box. Cache is located along the Sperry Wash OHV Trail. You'll need a high clearence vehicle, quad or motorcycle to get to this cache. You can also hike in from the parking area. The Speery trail follows and crosses the Armagosa river. The water is NOT drinkable!!!So if it is warm bring lots of water.

Another cache in the Dumont Dunes OHV area. This is a great area explore with wonderful washes and high sand dunes. A fee is charged to enter the area during the high season (20 dollars). Depending on when you visit it might be busy. Please watch for people playing in the sand. Please replace the cache as you found it. As with all desert caches be mindful of things that bite, sting and pinch here in this natural area. It can be well over 110 here in the summer. If you are crazy enough to come here then, please bring LOTS of water as the water in the local river is NOT drinkable Tread lightly and have fun.
Cache is near the old townsite of Sperry. This road was once heavly traveled, pavement can still be seen in some places. Following this trail offers some very interesting geography. Cache is within a couple feet of parking.
