Geocache Description:

The year was 1662. A musician / songwriter by the name of Issac Schmelkenstein moved to the newly founded city of Racine. Schmelkenstein had a love of the clarinet and wrote beautiful melodies day and night.

Issac had a beloved wife by the name of Minnie. Well, Minnie, you see, was a Tuba player. She received formal training at the Tuba Oral & Note Enunciation, Tuba Tongueing Education facility. (that's TONETTE for short).

Issac was madly in love with Minnie. Minnie was madly in love with her Tuba. More importantly for this yarn, Minnie was madly in love with her Tuba Instructor Vladimer Dunkoswski, the chief Tuba Instructo at TONETTE.

Professor Dunkoswski was a devious character. He would spend all his money on the BINGO circuit, then come home at night and steal from his mistresses. Oh, yes, Vladimer was quite the ladies' man. It seems he had several bank accounts being fed simultaneously by his "ladies"

Wondering where this Yarn is Spinning?

Me too.

Anywho, to make a long story short - Schmelkenstein was up late writing a new song when he caught a glimpse of his beloved crossing the street into the nearby park (Their home was right across the street from the location of this cache - of course).

Minnie was on her way to a rendevous with Vladimer. Schmelkenstein lept up and caught them in a passionate embrace right at th spot of this cache. He went into a murderous rage. He killed them, then went into his house and committed suicide.

Their blood soaked into the ground and causes the tree to grow funny - kind of "an embrace" if you look at it just right. Beware, the house is still boarded up.

Enjoy your hunt!
