This is one of a series scattered over the Treasure Valley.
This cache was placed weeks ago but we held the release out of respect for the Great Hobo Event!
Please hide as well if not better then found. There is no reason to disturb the landscape. Please bring small trade items as right now it is a log only container, but there is room for small trinkets for the kiddies. But be sure to be armed with the trusty pencil.
Please pull in and park on the cemetery grounds as there is NO Parking directly across the street and the road is to busy for the children and puppies to walk safely with no sidewalk.
Beside you won't want to miss the other great cache in the cemetery area.
Please respect the area, and the City of Melba for making such a lovely Tribute to Our Veterans.
Here is my story of meeting the famous Cache Fairy:
I was out caching in the Tio Woods. When I saw a flash of light and a sprinkling of shimmering dust. I knew in a second it was her. I had been blessed with the vision of the Cache Fairy.
She spoke to me in a soft musical voice. Her words of wisdom said, Morigue, you must complete a task for me. I need you to guard and care for my magical, mystical caches. I will be placing them around the Treasure Valley. Who could turn down a fairy! Of course I agreed.
She told me of the first one, Tio Trek, and then the second Magical View. I waited in anticipation to see if there was more. To my surprise there was. The third was Caldwell Walk and the fourth was Shimmering Ponds. I really was hoping there was no more; I have enough to take care of already.
Then she spoke the words I feared the most, yes there will be more to come. She bid me good-bye and wished me well.
It has been many months since the Cache Fairy has shone herself to me. To my relief, but alas she returned.
There is another cache near by but this cache touched her and the City of Melba built this beautiful area to our Veterans. So it is worthy of its own cache. It is a bison container so please bring your own pencil.
Happy Caching
