Geocache Description:

There are two paved parking spots off a busy road. If you pick the right day perhaps you'll see two Sandcranes that enjoy the nearby stream. This pair has been here for over two years.

Sadly, Willy's house was 'flooded out', so he's left it behind and moved on. You can still visit the house; it's been fixed up, but you won't have to worry about running into him now.

...Perhaps someday he'll return...

Below is the description for the cache when Willy lived nearby:

You'll find a traditional ammo box cache initially containing some Travel Bugs

Ole Willy is a retired railroad engineer and a bit of a recluse living in Sanford. He took up residence some time ago and apparently has grown a bit lonely and unfortunately a bit obnoxious. Yeah, ole Willy has a mind of his own, on the other hand he is quite harmless, as you’ll see once you darken his ammo box door.

Have fun meeting Willy, but please no “spoilers” of any kind. Let future visitors enjoy the full flavor of finding and meeting “Whining Willy”.

Cache contents Jeep Travel Bug, MaxB Travel Bug, a Black Jack Game, and assorted swag. First to Find prize is a nature themed “laser etched glass nick knack” .

If you happen to visit
his kind abode do find
Be patient also caring
and always very kind

He's not a real bad guy
but a bit set in his ways
seldom is ole Willy seen
as in his house he stays

If you happen to wander
and finally find his place
a hand you will not shake
he seldom shows his face

When you've seen enough
kindly put him in his place
snap the clamp and secure
hiding him without a trace.
