Geocache Description:

Plymouth park & ride.

Station 73 occupies a portion of the original "Schiebe's Corner", which has been in use since 1863. Originally Farmer's Home Tavern, it was a stagecoach stop as well as an overnight stop for farmers travelling from western Hennepin County to Minneapolis markets. Once again, it is a transition point for suburban commuters on their way to urban business centers. The City has recognized the Schiebe family with an honorary plaque inside the station.
