****************UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE******************
We are working out the schedule (I know...should have been done by now...sorry)...THIS WILL BE A LAID BACK EVENT!! The check-in is Friday...ANYTIME! TR&T will NOT be there until I get out of work...unless Tod and KAboom go out early! This doesn't mean you can't come out and get checked in and set up, just that we won't be around to give out info or anything until around 5pm-6pm when I finally can get out of work! Since we'll be set up Thursday evening, this won't be a problem! FRIDAY NIGHT around dusk, we'll be leading a group in to find one of our hides...bring flashlights!!

Scavenger hunt starts upon check-in! You'll get a list of items when you register at the event HQ (OK...wherever we decide to set up the screen tents). Scav hunt ends Saturday evening after the RIBS!!! Saturday will have the activities!! We'll have them available all day (for most activities)...prizes and such for these activities to be handed out after the RIBS Saturday evening!

The POTLUCK and RIBS dinner will be around 6pm Saturday evening! The raffles, auctions and prizes will follow! BREAKFAST SUNDAY MORNING....PLEASE BRING something to share for the breakfast IF YOU CAN! I'm supplying the ribs and such, just can't afford everything! Things like eggs, sausage, bacon, pancake mix and syrup, coffee and drinks WILL be needed and appreciated! A coffe maker would be helpful too I suppose...I don't have one! If you plan to join us for breakfast, please leave a note so I can make plans accordingly!! ANYONE WITH A GRIDDLE OR ROASTER....PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP if you'd like to bring them along to be used to cook up the ribs or the breakfast!!!

LASTLY....COINS!! We will be auctioning off a complete set (minus the LE of course) of 2007 COMPASS ROSE COINS (THANKS FOR THE GENEROUS DONATIONS!!) as well as the ANTHUS LAPTOP LE COIN SET (THANKS ANTHUS!!) COME PREPARED TO BID...all money will go directly into next year's event! We also have a nice selection of donated coins for raffle (tickets will be sold all weekend) AND some coins for a FREE RAFFLE as well...ALL MONEY MADE FROM THE AUCTIONS AND FEE RAFFLES WILL GO TO NEXT YEAR'S EVENT! EVENT COINS!! The coins are on sale NOW! Email me with: real name, user name, address, paypal email address and regular email address! Coins are $8.00 and sorry, only ONE per person during the pre-sales! COINS WILL NOT BE DELIVERED BUT HANDED OUT AT THE EVENT...jut trying to get money to pay for these! MONEY MADE FROM COINS WILL FUND NEXT YEAR'S COINS!!

In cooperation with the State Parks division, Hayes State Parks and MIGO, we would like to invite you out to join us for a weekend of great caching, camping and comraderie!!! Help us to celebrate and support our new partnership with the Michigan State Parks, bring your camping equipment, boat and an appetite for FUN!!! We are planning on having Bob Evans ribs for dinner Saturday evening, please bring a dish to pass.

Located in the Irish Hills area on M-124 just to the north of US-12, we are approxiamtely 20 minutes from Jackson, 40 minutes from Ann Arbor, about an hour from Toledo area, maybe a bit more from the Detroit area...close by for our Ohio and Indiana friends to come and join, as well as our northern friends!!

We have many great activities in the planning, there will be night caching, possibly a scavanger hunt (caching related of course) and great relaxation and company!! We have a good number of local caches in the area for all to enjoy, we also plan to place a good number of new caches to be published for the event!!

Camping in Hayes is modern...showers, paved campsites, great playgrounds and activities area, fishing w/boat launch to two lakes in the park (Wampler's and Round lakes) and a picnic and beach area!! Camping is $23 per night, you can call ahead for reservations, but I was told that would be an extra fee (????)...there will be plenty of camping available though, so no need unless you have special concerns or needs!! There are also a couple of mini-cabins available for rent, for more info, you can contact Pam at the Hayes Park office, or call 1-800-44PARKS for reservations!

This event is being hosted by MIGO members, we are working in coordination with VictoryMike and Nurse Nanna (who have been very helpful in getting this all set up!! Team Cammo have offered use of their tent and camp equipment as well...THANKS for that guys, I hope it isn't needed though!! MUCH MORE INFO will be posted as it becomes available.

COME AND JOIN US FOR A WEEKEND OR JUST A DAY, Can't wait to see you all there!!!
