Horner's Crate Traditional Cache
redtj: Checked on this guy and was glad to see it in place as hidden! but when I opened it I was deeply distraught. it was absolutely full of ants, ant larvae and dirt! I realized I would not be excited if I was searching for this cache and neither would anybody else. I took out the swag and log and replaced the container so the ants could continue their environmental journey undisturbed. thanks for searching for the crate...

Located in an Environmental study area, Trails are nice with good views of the lake and lots of benches to take a rest.
Many years ago there was a Boat dock/Marina/Floating Restaurant near here called Horner's that I believe burned and sank. What was salvageable was towed around the peninsula and became part of Drakes Creek Boat dock/Marina/Floating Restaurant which also burned and sank. All that is left here of Horner's is a large cleat on the opposite shore from this area. I have not been able to find anything on the internet about Horner's and only know what my family has told me. If you know anything else please let me know!
Original contents of this cache include: waterproof playing cards, Audi, Defcon Geocoin, micro cache for you to hide,and waterproof log book container. several other caches in this park.
