Cache Located in Scouts Park
Temple Terrace, Fl
In the past there has been two other caches in this nice park with a hiking trail along side the Hillsborough River. The trail is in pretty good shape and makes for a very nice hike close to the river and return to the parking area.
The trail twist and turns and winds through some heavy canopy and will go past the Scouts camping area.There is a fire ring and some garbage cans loacted here.
During the rainy season parts of the trail can be underwater making the terrain rating higher. The Decon box was placed in an area that in normal time will not flood.
We hid the cache just off the trail and very little bushwacking is required. Use your knowlege of past geo-caching or you may be in for some heavy bush wacking that is not required nor needed to find this cache.
There has been sightings of gators by the river so please be alert and watch for things that may sting or bite.
We also ask that you please make sure the decon box is tightly closed to prevent moisture from entering. The cache contains some small items for trade,a log sheet and the offical GC letter. There is not a pen in the cache so you will need to bring your own to sign the log.
