Geocache Description:

THIS CACHE HAS BEEN SITE-REVIEWED AND DETERMINED TO NOT BE LOCATED WITHIN THE RESERVE.
This is out in a developing part of town. It is getting harder and harder to access these roads on public land due to the construction. I hid it on Sunday making it easy. I went in my Rodeo without using the 4WD.

This cache is outside of the Red Cliffs Reserve and 200 feet off a road that used to be easy to access. Please do not leave the established dirt/sand road with your vehicle. You can turn around at the entrance to the reserve just up the road. If you go on the weekends it is not too tough, for now.

The Reserve is a 62,000-acre scenic desert area dedicated to the protection of the desert tortoise and other rare or sensitive species of wildlife and plantlife. In my understanding, this reserve has been set aside to give the endangered desert tortoise an opportunity to re-establish itself in the area. The recent drought and the wildfire activity has caused a serious decline in a slow-growth species.

This reserve was established and is made up of "state trust lands", privately owned real estate, BLM managed lands and county and state owned parcels. This land was set aside for the benefit of the compromised animal life and vegetation, "by committee" and in exchange for the "freeing" of other lands managed by these same entities. Please respect the efforts of the stewards of this project.

The original cache container was very funny. It was replaced with a very dull, unoriginal jar.
