A short hike from Altadena, the most convenient starting points would be either from the start of Sunset Ridge on Cheney Rd. or the Lower Sam Merrill trail at the top of Lake Ave. then cutting across to Sunset Ridge via the Mt. Lowe trail.
This cache was place for and named after our new daughter's name - Abby. We threw in a number of trinkets from the baby shower and various items to celebrate her birth. We'll let you discover what the actual contents are.
The cache container is camoed Nalgene bottle. A note worth taking, the weather was overcast and gloomy on the day it was placed. I'm not sure if the coordinates are accurate but there is a spoiler picture to help. I hike this trail often so I'll return at some point to validate the coordinates, and if they're way off I'll update the cache details. Happy caching!
