Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed as part of the 3rd Annual Vancouver Island Hide-&-Go Cache.

The portion of the cache name that is within quotation marks is an anagram of the general location of this cache. It resolves into three words. It is not necessary to solve the anagram to find the cache, though its solution may be found in the cache logbook.

This cache is typical of my previous caches. I give you the final coordinates. You figure out how to get there. You will get some exercise. If you locate and follow the same access as I did, you will enjoy walking a trail along a couple of old roads and/or mountain biking trails that gain altitude to culminate at some rocky viewpoints at the summit of a local hill with great views to the north, west and south. My GPSr indicated that I was at about 282 metres elevation at the top, though the actual elevation change for the walk is considerably less than that.

The cache is is a 1 litre L&L located behind a couple of pieces of bark covering the opening to a rock cleft behind a very old rotten disintegrating stump. The stump is located beside a trail.

There is a plethora of roads/trails in the area. Please remember to mark a waypoint where you park your car, and be prepared to use the Tracback feature of your GPSr if necessary to return to it. Be prepared for some exercise enroute, and wear reasonably sturdy shoes.
