A short way above the road/trail sits this precarious monolith. Container is a plastic egg with a smaller container within. Contains only a small log for date and initials. Bring a pencil.
This rock looks like it wants to head downhill but has probably been sitting pretty for hundreds of years. Terrain rating is because in the winter, you will need to use snowshoes or cross county skis to get to this one. Remember your sno-park permit in the winter. Should be easier to reach in the summer.
