Carnock Moor is a slightly misleading name as this is a woodland area. There has been recent felling activity, which makes the terrain a bit more difficult, but GPSr reception better ...so swings and round abouts!!
This is cache #3 in the "Venicone Trail"
The "Venicone Trail" caches grew out of my desire to have a reasonable number of caches along a pleasant walk. If you want to do these caches individually, that's fine, however, if you want to try the trail, details can be found on the web link above.
A nice stroll trough the woods, the cache is located in a low lying area near a "pond"
