Geocache Description:

Visit the new Geocaching Ireland discussion forum HERE

This cache is located in the centre of Ireland - where the mid-point for the most Northern / Southern / Western and Eastern coordinates ending in "999" lies.

The significance of "999" is to give those about to record their thousandth cache a further landmark cache - although anybody is welcome to find it, obviously. The coordinates bring you to a local football pitch - the cache is situated 29 metres East of the coordinates.

There's no need to leave the road for this one!
