Geocache Description:

Hiawatha's Hollow is about 1/4 mile walk from a carpark along a gravel Bridal path over common land.

This cache is named after the famous peom by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Born in Portland, Maine, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882) displayed an interest in linguistics at an early age, eventually teaching modern languages at Harvard.

"Give me of your bark, O Birch-tree!
Of your yellow bark, O Birch-tree!
Growing by the rushing river,
Tall and stately in the valley!
I a light canoe will build me,
Build a swift Cheemaun for sailing."

From Hiawatha's Sailing by H.W. Longfellow.

Take your clues from the poem above.

There is a car park nearby at N51º22.736 W001º06.716. This is the best place to park and there is only a short walk from here.
