This cache is part of a series of twelve,
each one representing a point in the Boy Scout Law. Each cache is
placed near a location that a Boy Scout organized a group of people
to perform a service project. These service projects are a
requirement for a boy to obtain the highest rank in scouting; Eagle
Scout.
Clovis Eagle Cache #5 – Old Town Trail
is where Several Eagle Scout projects have been done along this
trail. I am aware of at least three separate projects involving
concrete pads and benches from here north to the Sierra Freeway
(168) underpass.
Optional:
For a
further activity for those “geo-scouters,” or those who like
puzzles. A clue with the scout emblem on it is placed in each of
the 12 Clovis Eagle Caches. For example one would find a note like
the following. “A scout is:
Trustworthy” in the note one
of the letters will be highlighted or other instructions will be
given. So in this example the letter T
would be the
clue.
The goal is to go to each of the 12 caches in this series and
create a word/phrase by using the letters that are obtained in each
of the 12 caches. The clue to the order of the word/phrase is the
numbering in the title of the geocaches themselves. (e.g. Clovis
Eagle Cache #2, the letter clue would be used as the second digit
of the
word/phrase)
Please email me the solution to the
puzzle.
