Geocache Description:


Cache is placed near the bridge on the roadside 2 1/2 miles outside Toomebridge village on the B18. If you cross the old bridge over the River Bann it takes you to the old airfield at Toome. This could be classed as a cache and dash as it is just off the main road. There is parking and a picnic area close to the cache location. Please be very careful when retrieving and replacing the cache as it's a busy road and there are usually always a few fishermen about on the riverbank. The terrain rating is 2 just to make you aware that the cache is between a busy road and the river which at times can be very fast flowing and to be careful with kids and animals.
