Travel Bug Exchange in the seat of Ft. Bend County
The goal of a 'Travel Bug Hotel" is to provide a fun and easy
place for cachers trying to move their Travel Bugs in and out of
the area, and more importantly where the bugs can rest and recover
from their long and exhausting journey around the world.
There is fairly easy access to the Travel Bug cache near Highway
90 and Pitts Rd. (east of FM 359) located in a secluded area of a
nearby neighborhood park (Pecan Grove or 'Pitts' Park).
Although it's not necessarily "trucker friendly" it's not totally
unfriendly either. Just park in or near the park and have at
it!
The park closes at or shortly after dusk each night, but this area
is accessible via other ways on foot (if you know the area.)
NOTE: You don't have to leave a bug to take one, and vice versa.
We don't want this cache to fill up with travel bugs—they're
supposed to travel after all—so if it's getting full, take several
with you!
The original stock is ten (10) new, uncirculated Travel Bugs
with all types of goals and themes.
You are looking for a non-standard, but easily recognizable
container. There may been teenage muggles around, depending on the
time of day. Enter the brush from the northwest corner of the park
for easiest access.
Congratulations Texas Dreamweaver on FTF! Put those unregistered
Travel Bugs to good use! GrangerFam gets a 2TF nod, especially
since they've been waiting 2 weeks for this one to go live and got
caught off guard. :)
