This park is the actual Indian River Lagoon Preserve park which is maintained by the city of New Smyrna Beach. You can access it from Sandpiper Ave. The plant life at this location is quite stunning as a lot of the plants are transplants from other nations. Enjoy the trail and be sure to visit my other cache nearby with a stunning view. The park is open from 9am to sundown.
Some of you may recognize this cache as formerly being "Financial Backing," In Port Orange. Due to a lengthy history of problems for whatever reason the cache always was getting wet. The container I can assure you will keep water out. So I have moved this cache to this location with the intent that I am sure that cachers will take better care of this as they will have more time without worrying too much about being muggled and replace the lid properly. Enjoy the new location and sign the new log.
