Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the Craigflower Creek Trail, one of the most scenic (and least used) trails in Thetis Lake Park.

When my siblings and I were young, we'd terrify each other while out in the woods with stories of the "Moss Man", a monster who emerges from the moss to frighten kids. Every time I'm in this area, I think of the old 'Moss Man'. This looks like his kind of place. So watch out...the Moss Man cometh!

There is absolutely no need to bushwack to get to this cache... A map of the park can be found here (PDF). I have given you the name of the trail and a map, so you have no excuse to bushwack. This is a sensitive ecosystem!!

Cache is hiddenin an old moss covered woodpile. I have placed a piece of bright orange flagging tape directly above the cache, so no need to start digging around until you see it.

This cache was hidden as part of the 3rd annual Vancouver Island Hide n' Go Cache.
