Geocache Description:

A nice easy multi along a maintained trail. Cache container is a medium l-n-l so smaller trade items.
This cache is part of the 3rd Annual Vancouver Island Hide-and-go-Cache.

The Highway Divides Us.

This cache is placed along a trail which is on the west side of the Pat Bay highway directly across from McDonald Provincial Park. The highway splits the two green spaces which is readily noticeable from the constant noise. As far as I know this trail is not part of the provincial park... but I could be wrong.

I HIGHLY suggest parking at the indicated location and walking in. The trail can be wet during the winter months. Once you arrive at stage one a post will provide the end location. Stage one has no available parking... the road is very narrow and large farm equipment frequently travels back and forth. You have been warned.

If You are bringing a dog it must be on a leash as you pass by the sheep farm during early spring (March/April); Even if your dog is well behaved as the sight of a wandering, sniffing dog PANICS the ewes who then may run over the lambs. The farm is located beside the trail in the last 150m before stage 1.
