Geocache Description:

There is no need to go onto the bridge.

Shepherd's Bridge, as it is known locally, was one of three iron briges built in Marshall County in 1882. These were the first iron bridges the county had ordered to be constructed, at a cost of $15000.00 each. Although, the bridge was deemed unsafe and a new bridge has been built, the iron bridge still stands as a piece of transportation history. Bring pen/pencil!
