An easy short walk through an oak woodland, leading to a panoramic view over the gwent levels.
Park on the lane in the large passing place at coords N51:38.154 W2:49.985. There is only realy room for 1 car to park here, and still have a usable passing place. If someone beats you to it, please don't block up the passing place, instead, why not do one of the other nearby caches (like 'Gray Hill', 'Metal' or -the soon to be released- 'Wood'), and come back to this one later.
Head south about 100 yards to the footpath on your right, and follow it up the (occasionally muddy) slope. Stay on the path all the way to the cache. The path is well marked all the way. The cache is found approximately 50 yrds off the path. Please don't walk on any bluebells...
After finding the cache, if you continue to the end of the path, and cross over the lane, you are rewarded with a nice view of the surrounding countryside. (N51:37.788,W2:49.964)
A word of warning, some parts of this path can be rather muddy, so boots or wellies are recommended. It is probably fine in summer, though there is a spring which flows over the path.
