The cache is located in Nickel Creek Park, where a multi-cache once
reigned supreme. There is parking for two cars at the entrance. 47
50.962N 122 12.436W. You will see play equipment to your left. You
will be on a wide paved path which will abruptly disappear. There
is no recognizable trail beyond but the area is flat and bare
enough to navigate easily.
This is my first cache. As you might guess from its name, it is
in a plastic cashew container from Costco, about the size of a
large peanut butter jar, with a screw on lid. It is camouflaged but
I don’t know why, as it adds no difficulty to the find. It is
stuffed with a variety of cache items and is big enough for most
TB’s once some items have been removed. FTF is a five dollar gift
certificate to McDonalds. It is not a complicated hide, but as all
hides in foliage, coordinates may be spotty. It is not far off the
trail and there is no need to bushwhack. You may see an area of
damaged ferns where I pitch over the hill and landed on the cache.
I had a TIA (transient ischemic attack) or the ghost from the last
cache shoved me! This is not a requirement for finding the cache!!
Any cache problems will be addressed immediately. Happy hunting!!!
Please note: I went there today, 3/11/07 and the cache is only
400ft +/- and I didn't bruise a thing. Please do the same so the
Friends of Faeries and Fern Fronds don't blacklist me:)
