Geocache Description:

This cache is my attempt at giving just a little physical challenge to hunters. Although the placement is not extreme, it will require some careful placement of footing.

Getting There

The cache is located off of St. Route 821 just a few miles north of Belle Valley, Ohio. If travelling north, you will pass through an even smaller village named Coal Ridge. Just past this village is a large pull-off-area. The coordinates to this location are N 39 49.339 W 081 34.473. This is the only area to pull off the road and park.

There are several ways to reach the final location. However, I found a very effective way up the hill. On my way up I found a bench marker for the Ohio Highway System. The coordinates to this marker are N 39 49.376 W 081 34.469. This marker happens to be on a deer trail which eventually leads to the cache. Plus it will give you something else to look for. BTW, the marker is a small round disk that pretrudes about 5 inches out of the ground. Be aware that it may be covered by leaves.

Note

I forgot my notebook, so I placed a blank envolope into the cache to allow people to sign in. I will be replacing that with a real notebook very soon.
