This cache introduces the seeker to Career Technical Education. It is any easy walk from a small parking area.

This cache is back online after many months of road construction for the new Beckley Bypass. The cache is near it's original location and accessible via the same directions below. The area is still remote, for an in-town cache (I saw four wild turkey on the cache sight today), but there is no access to the school due the the new road. The new road will be very apparent at this location. There is a huge vertical, stair-stepped wall here, and no view of the school, though you are only a hundred yards or so from it.
DO NOT TRY TO ACCESS THIS CACHE FROM THE BYPASS NO MATTER HOW TEMPTING. It would involve a steep dangerous decent and then climb back up.
I have worked in Career Technical Education (CTE) for 17 years and really believe in its benefits. This cache contains items used to promote the school where I work. There are pins, magnets, pens, carabiners, a koozie, and a log book. I placed this cache near my school but not on its property. There were two roads that would bring you to The Academy of Careers and Technology from Stanaford Road(Rt 41)in Beckley, WV. You will park near these coordinates (N 37 47.701 W 081 10.119)on the road named for an underground excavation of ores and metals. There is an obvious parking spot on a remote section of road beside of the vertical stair-stepped wall. The Cache will be a short walk from here. I will keep this cache stocked with school items.
