Geocache Description:

This is a classic song, performed by a classic band.

The Who. In their original form, they were Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, Keith Moon, and John Entwistle.

I have never been a huge fan of The Who. I like "some" of their songs, here and there. "Squeeze Box" is a really good song. I like some of the songs from the rock opera Tommy.

Gotta hand it to them though. They were a powerhouse of music creation. They created a lot of good stuff, and they lasted a pretty long time.

"Going Mobile"... I love this song. Probably my favorite from that band. Anytime it comes on the radio, I crank it up and my attention is held by that song. It is upbeat and has great melody. Yes, I sing out loud along with it. Even dance a little. And I sing really good. As long as you don't hear me. And I dance okay too. Townshend provides the vocals on this song, by the way. I think Daltrey plays the tambourine.

This song was playing (loudly) on the radio as I was hiding this cache. I was singing out loud and dancing as I was hiding this cache. No one paid any attention to me though. There are too many people out in the world singing out loud and dancing for me to stick out of the crowd.

I leave you with the partial lyrics to "Going Mobile", performed by The Who.

I'm going home, and when I wanna go home,
I'm going mobile.
Well, I'm gonna find a home and we'll see how it feels,
Going mobile.
Keep me movin'.

I can pull up by the curb, I can make it on the road,
Going mobile.
I can stop in any street, inviting people that we meet,
Going mobile.
Keep me movin'.

Out in the woods or in the city,
It's all the same to me.
When I'm driving free, the world's my home,
When I'm mobile.

Hee, hoo! Beep beep!

Play the tape machine, make the toast and tea,
When I'm mobile.
Well I can lay in bed, with only highway ahead,
When I'm mobile.
Keep me movin'.

Keep me movin'.
Over 50.
Keep me groovin'.
Just a hippie gypsy.
