This multi cache is located in a less visited part of Mercer County Park Northwest (aka Rosedale Park) off of Blackwell Road East in Lawrence Township. The posted coordinates are for the first stage. Park at the parking lot at N40-19.534 W074-45.173.
This cache is a six stage multi that meanders around a meadow located on the south side of the park. The stages use various "containers" and hiding techniques. Each stage contains the coordinates to the next stage, except that Stage 5 contains an offset from the Stage 1 coordinates which gives you the final cache coordinates. (NOTE: The original Stage 5 was muggled in early 2008 and was replaced. This was also missing in early 2009, along with the total distruction of Stage 1. A new Stage 1 and 5 was placed in late March 2009 near the originals. The coordinates posted in each stage have been adjusted accordingly.) Some stages may be harder to locate than the others. The entire hunt from parking lot to the final cache covers about 0.6 miles. All are easy walking around the meadow. NOTE: the field grasses may be much longer late in the season if the county has not mowed the meadow. The whole multi is family friendly. The final cache is an ammo box that has a log and the usual trade items. Access to the lake in the main park is available via the trails starting on this side of the park. Some of the trails can be very wet at times during the year. Good hunting!
