Geocache Description:

This area will eventually be developed (I hate that word). I don't think they'll start destroying it for a while yet. Enjoy it while it's here.

I placed an ammo can here. When I placed the cache I intended it to be a bushwacking cache. I wore my heavy boots and jeans. I brought gloves, bug repellant, and water. I did some bushwacking on the way in but discovered a faint trail on the way out. It's there now but will grow over soon. In order to keep it interesting I won't tell you where I found the trail.

Once you are past the palmettos it opens into a swampy area. There are houses not too far away but you are separated from them from an impenetrable wall of palmettos.

The name is a little in head checklist for the Boeing 727. There are written checklists to verify the trailing edge flaps, the leading edge flaps, and the landing gear are down. Normal landing flaps is 30 degrees. The approach is the busiest part of the flight. So even though you know the checklist is done in your head you're checking everything again. Why this name here? Might be the ramblings of someone who hasn't been near a 727 in six years and is still unable to clear it from his head or it might mean something. Who knows.
