Rusty the Dinosaur has been here a long time. Unfortunately, in
his old age, much like a neglected Tin Man, he can't move anymore
and needs your help to locate his lost cache of eggs.
The safest (and easiest) way to approach Rusty's Lair is from
the fast lane going South on I-15 past the Oak Hills exit. A
45 MPH TRUCK LIMIT sign marks the entrance to this realm.
When you see the sign ahead, pull off safely onto the paved
shoulder and slow down to turn in left, just before it. If you miss
the entrance going south bound, there's no need to do anything
dangerous like backing up on the shoulder. Simply continue to the
next legal (paved) turn-around nearby at the open flat paved area
on the left, just past and behind the CalTrans traffic camera tower
and follow the snaking road down the hill.
Once inside Rusty's Lair, park to the extreme left side to
conceal your vehicle best from passing muggles' limited view of
this area. Rusty hid his cache of eggs safely in his nest on the
hillside opposite him, not within view of the passing traffic.
Please leave any pets and the kids in the car for safety. Rusty
looks hungry so please dont play near him! Rusty recently had a new
egg in his nest which he watches over. If you take his egg, you
will need a fast vehicle to escape his wrath!
Be careful when merging back onto the freeway to give plenty of
distance and of course pay attention to the one-way signs! :P
