Cache is located in an off leash area for dogs. The kiddies found this spot, and came up with their own idea of a cache to place here. Please use hint!
Fred is guarding treasures. He is very lonely and would love for you to come for a visit and maybe trade some treasures with him. He would also love to have the company of Travel Bugs and coins too! Please don't brush his hair or pull it, he is very sensitive about it.
UPDATE! August 2009: Tragically Fred's home was destroyed by heavy machinery, or possibly according to the kids, a hurricane!! Fred is MIA, and we can only hope he will show up unharmed one day.
In the meantime, his cousin Ginger has moved into the area to search for poor Fred, and she is staying close by his "ex-home" in the hopes that if he returns, he will find her there. Please feel free to log this cache as a find again if you go to find Ginger, even if you have already found Fred's destroyed home before the tragedy.
UPDATE January 2012: Another tragedy has struck in the troll's neighbourhood! Poor Ginger was found very broken up. She had possibly been stepped on! We tried everything to revive her, but unfortunately all our efforts failed and she was pronounced dead. The family is very upset, but are still hoping poor Fred will be found, so Ginger's little sister Irene, who is now grown enough to be on her own has volunteered to take Ginger's place. Please be gentle in the troll's neighbourhood, and watch where you step. We hope Irene will have a better time of it than poor Fred or Ginger!
