Geocache Description:

A 5-10 minute walk along a beach and over rocks from parking, with fine views of Clough Williams-Ellis's enduring folly, Portmeirion.

Before trying this cache, you're recommended to check this tide table, which should only be 15 minutes or so out.

Bring your own pen or pencil just in case the ones in the cache have become blunt.

Built from the 1920's to the 1970's, and with work continuing, Portmeirion is probably best known as 'The Village' from the 1967 ITC TV series, 'The Prisoner'. It's also a hotel with self-catering cottages. Rather than take you to the village itself (there is a charge to visit) this cache takes you to the other side of the estuary. Bring binoculars or a camera with a good zoom. There's also fine views of Snowdon from here in good weather.

Good luck, and happy caching!

Special thanks to local cachers 'Rhian came too' who are looking after this cache for me. It's really appreciated.
