Beyond the City Limits Traditional Cache

The cache is located in the foothills of the Pentland Hills. The route that leads up to the cache site uses well defined paths, although they are quite muddy in places. I have uploaded a photo of a circular walk that will take you up to the cache site from the car park and back down a different way. The whole trip should take about an hour

Parking for this cache is available at N 55 53.945 W 003 14.250. Which is just off the Dreghorn Junction of the City Bypass.

The cache container is a small clip box. When first set the contents were as follows: log book and small pencils, several pin badges, small torch, two light up key rings ,white fuzzy thing, Green Jeep TB and a U4D TB.

This area is well visited by hikers, cyclists and dog walkers and as the location is in sight of the path, it is likely stealth will be required at some point during your hunt.

When you have found the cache I would recommend that you continue back towards the car park in a circular route (see the route photo for details). This whole trip should take between fifty minutes and 1 hour, depending on how quickly you find the cache.
