Who is up for some Green Eggs and Ham? ...... You'd better have
some sort of green with you!!!!!
Saint Patrick’s Day is is the feast day, which annually
celebrates Saint Patrick (386-493), the Patron Saint of Ireland, on
March 17. It is the Irish national holiday and one of the public
holidays in the Republic of Ireland. This day is widely celebrated
in the United States but is not an official holiday!
Made popular by a childrens book written by Dr. Seuss, Green
Eggs and Ham is a sort of pun used by many people. The phrase
"green eggs and ham" is a breakfast menu item in which normal eggs
are cooked with spinach or some other green vegetable, and served
with normal ham. However, Dr. Seuss had a different vision. He
imagined that the phrase was simply Eggs with a green yolk with
green ham, he illustrated this in his book.
In the instance of the event, Green Eggs and Ham may be the only
way you escape from being pinched!!
The event will start at approximately 10:00 AM on Saturday,
March 17, 2007. Come hungry and bring the whole clan!
