Geocache Description:

A short walk from the gravelled canal towpath of the Grand Union Canal between Hatton and Warwick

A small camoulflaged tupperware type box on a footpath that runs from "Middle Lock Lane" on the Warwick to Hatton road, crossing the canal and leading into fields on the other side. As the name suggests this is near the middle of the flight of 21 locks.

Easiest access is from the canal towpath which is hard-packed gravel between Bottom Lock and the top of the flight at Hatton.

Ideal place to park is at the British Waterways Centre at Hatton using the pay and display car park or at the Bottom Lock (follow signs for Warwick Parkway Station and turn off left at the sharp bend just before the traffic lights at the station entrance). The car park at the British Waterways Centre is cheapest - £1.20 all day as of September 2014.

Both car parks are near some of our other caches so several can be done on the same visit with an interesting canalside walk between the caches. The short walk along the footpath after leaving the canal can be very muddy after rain.
