p>While on a recent cache run through Bristol, TN, Team High
Point noticed that DMFlyer (a local
cacher to that area) had created a new cache-a-day series for the
month of February. We really liked the idea and decided to expand
it and do it in a true Team High Point style, so…
For the month of March, Team High Point proudly brings to you
our newest series:
Cache of the Day
This means that instead of just 1 new cache each day of the
month, we are working to bring you 4 new caches each and every day
of the month. These caches will be placed in High Point and the
neighboring cities. They may be easy park and grabs, or they could
be devious and creative hides. We feel confident that there will be
something to interest any type of cacher…
This cache is placed on a trail well known to local
Geocachers. The name for this cache comes from a Team High Point
caching trip.We were approached by a slightly intoxicated man who
was trying to figure out what we were doing with flashlights and
what we were looking for.So I was quick to respond and say " hey
man this guys girlfriend threw his keys to his truck in that rock
pile".He was amazed and really wanted to help ,but we told him not
to worry we would find them soon enough. Now you know the story and
why you need to know where your keys are.So this is a multi cache
with a small twist. It should be a fun cache and I did take
TwistedGirl and MadMax along when we hid the cache so it should be
ok for the kids to.There are some briars in the area and a short
bushwack is required. Both stages are within walking distance and
parking is nearby. Some Cachers will figure out the twist quickly
,but others may need a second trip.I have also included a small FTF
prize in the final stage.
Please rehide the cache just as you found it so as not to
compromise the location and so that the next finder will have the
same enjoyment.
