Plenty of free parking... if the hotel car park is full at the
front of the building there is a further free hotel car park around
the rear of the hotel.... follow signs from car park)
The meeting will be held in the Hotel Restaurant (see photo
below)
and there is plenty of outside areas if the weather is fine for
us:-
We have practically full use of the hotel (not bedrooms) and if
as expected numbers grow we have various rooms we can use up to the
full function suite that can hold 240 people seated !)
New to caching, this is a must for you....
Children very very welcome, but no dogs I am afraid (sorry Bruno
!)
The hotel will have the bar open all afternoon, and although the
bar prices are a couple of pence above the travellers rest, they
are not expensive 'hotel' prices.

12.00 Event opens and first cachers arive (who will be first
this year !)
12.00 - 14.00 Food availiable from bar. ***
14.00 MAIN FUN STARTS !
17.00 Most people now departed...apart from the dregs !!! (Last
year we stayed drinking to 8pm !)

The Hotel will be operating its full menu, and a sample menu is
as follows:-

Mediterranean Vegetable & Marcapone
Various Pasta dishes £5.50

MAIN FUN STARTS AT 2pm (14.00)
At 2pm a light hearted free to enter quiz will start, for those
teams (everyone I hope !) who wish to enter.
Be prepared... you will be required to use all your senses !
After this the presentation of the prizes for the 2006 Travel
Bug Race.
Just keep an eye on the web page and I shall post other notes
here later.
WARNING If you are wanting a quiet beer with a couple of
cachers, this is not the event cache for you.... last year there
was over 150 cachers at this event !!!

2007 Travel Bug Race
Yes once again a new race...
Entry Fee of £5.00 (cash/cheques/credit cards on the day).
Please contact me for a pre-entry
For this you will receive a travel bug, an attachment, a
laminated card to go with the bug and full instructions.
Please note this is a non-profit making venture... last years
event and TB race cost me personally over £200 !
May I please make a big thank you to the Manager of the Hotel
who has stood in and given us free use of his Hotel with 72 hours
to go !!!
Please note that there will be certain new caches released near
the new event for the day, so watch the web pages
Hopefully the weather will be kind to us and we can all enjoy
