Geocache Description:

Micro, Log only cache, Bring your own pencil

This cache is located near an old grainary. Wheatland is an agricultural town. This grainary served as a place for the farmers and ranchers to bring their goods, first in wagons drawn by horses and later by the truck load, to have them placed on trains headed for Denver and points East. The nearby building has served as a local feed store for many years and we encourage you to go in and talk to the owner who is more than happy to tell you the history of this building.
